How To Clean Your adidas Alphaedge 4D

The adidas Alphaedge 4D is a sneaker from the future. The shoe contains a lattice midsole that is 3D printed to help deliver precisely tuned support and cushioning. The shoe transcends from its fitness and performance focus seamlessly into streetwear, similarly to the adidas Ultraboost.

We got our hands on a pair of the adidas Alphaedge 4D and brought them into the LAB to take a closer look at the materials and how best to clean, care for and protect them.

If those Alphaedge 4D’s are brand new and ready to get some use, it is important to protect them with our Sneaker Protector. Spray the Sneaker Protector solution directly onto the upper and midsole of your new kicks. Pay special attention to the lattice midsole and try spray inside of the groves as it will be hard to reach if cleaning is needed. Leave the Sneaker Protector to work overnight.

Our Sneaker Protector will protect at a molecular level and will form a long-lasting invisible barrier to protect your shoes from liquids, solids and even sunlight. The use of Sneaker Protector will also make repeat cleans easier.

When your sneakers do inevitably get dirty, you’ll need to treat them accordingly. The first step will be to lightly brush off any excess dirt with our Premium Brush. Use a dry brush to gently get rid of the dirt laying atop the shoe and be careful as you don’t want to fray any of the knit.

After giving your sneakers a spot clean, you can turn your attention to cleaning the laces. Unlace your sneakers and spray our Sneaker Cleaner onto the laces. Rub them together in your hands, dip into water and leave to soak in the Sneaker Cleaner solution. When the laces have been saturated, ring them out and leave to dry.

Generously spray our Sneaker Cleaner onto the dirt. Wet our Premium Brush and scrub in a circular motion on affected areas, applying caution to the delicate material on the Alphaedge upper. This will remove the dirt and will not spread it around the shoe. The midsoles will be a bit trickier because of the lattice pattern. Scrub the midsoles until clean. Since it will be hard to clean inside of the midsoles, our Sneaker Cleaner is the perfect product. Our Sneaker Cleaner’s solution actively cleans when applied and will work at the dirt at a molecular level.
